Colony Part Apartments is a terrible place to live. Yes the apartments are larger than most but you have to almost curse out the management to get anything done. The trash piles up and overflows all the time because there is only one compactor for two different apartments. The management changes every six months, so the paperwork is always lost. I absolutely hate living here but my lease is up this month and I am definitely moving. The gate worked for less than two months out of the two years I have been here; and when they did work, the police couldn't even get in to respond to a call. Gnats are a huge problem over here and wasps are too. Believe it or not, snakes are being seen more often. The office staff has the worst attitude and will lie in a minute about someone fixing a problem in an apartment. I finally got something done when I called the corporate office in Atlanta (they do return calls). My suggestion is to stay away unless you are on a fixed budget and can't afford any other place that is at least halfway descent. Lastly, this is supposed to be a pet free community and all of my neighbors have dogs. That tells you that their apartments are not being sprayed or checked for anything.
