I lived in Sunchase from 2003-2005 and I really enjoyed my time there. The grounds were well kept, and the staff was really friendly. I lived in two different units while I was there, and they replaced the carpet in each one before I moved into them.

One thing that I didn't like was the fact that they went up on my rent everytime I renewed my lease. After my first lease was up, I wanted to pay month to month. However, to do so, it would have meant a significant increase in my rent. I'm talking $60-80 more. Whether you renew your lease or pay month to month, the price goes up.

Shortly before I moved, I began to see some skecthy people move into the complex. Some of the people around me felt that it was perfectly acceptable to blast music at 2 a.m. in the middle of the week. Although some of the people were loud, security was never an issue. I always felt safe. The Ridgeland Police patrolled the area regularly. I never heard of any thefts, break ins, violent crimes, etc.

The main reason I moved was to get a place closer to work. On a scale of 1-10, ten being the highest, I would give it an 8.5
