I hate to give negative reviews, but I cannot avoid one in this case. Let me preface...I have lived in several cities, in a variety of apartment complexes, so I have a good idea of what to look for in a place to stay.

First, the positives. The maintainance staff is second to none. Very knowledgable and quick. The grounds are rough...due to inherent soil problems of MS...and the driveways are in bad shape in spots due to sinking and separation. Nonetheless, parking is ample and they are working on improving the rough areas. The apartments are spacious and quiet.

Now the negatives. Be wary when you are ready to move on! Mgmt will find ways to bilk you out of your deposits, and then some. When you are a customer, the front office is pleasant and helpful. But once you confirm that you are moving out...hide your wallet! More puzzling is that the paperwork at the local office is incomplete and incorrect. I was supposed to receive a $150 return from my deposit (which I have yet to receive 3 months later) and now they are coming after me with a bogus carpet charge. In essence, between deposits and now a phantom damage bill 3 months after the fact, they are trying to get $900 cash out of me. If this were an isolated incident, I'd be less inclined to complain, but similar instances of bilking have happened to other customers we know.
