Gated complex with gates that never work!

I moved to this complex 6 months ago because it has gates at the entrance. The gates have never worked since I have lived here...not to mention that my car was broken into and all my favorite cd's were stolen. Maintenance was ok...but the leasing staff was very rude especially if you asked about the gated entrance. Would you consider this to be false advertisement to get people to think they might be safe'

Gated communities and their staff never advertise safety. No one can guarantee anyone safety. Use common sense. If people would stop damaging the gate systems they would be in operation. Repairs are not cheap. Plus, I find it hard to believe that the entire leasing staff was rude. Sounds like you had an ax to grind? What kind of resident were you?
