I lived at Colonial Grand for 1 year and it was a waste of money. Something is broken all the time - the security gate only worked half the time, they have a sorry excuse for a "fitness center" (nothing works) and my AC unit went out 6 times in the 12 months I lived there. They would refill the freon and it would leak out w/in 4-6 weeks and I would have to call again. One time my apartment was 85 degrees inside and they even told me that it was not hot enough outside for them to fix my apartment, and that I should just sleep with my windows open at night! I couldn't believe it! And after paying the $350 NON REFUNDABLE pet fee (watch out because everything you pay up front is a "fee" not a "deposit" so you get $0 back when you move out!)they expected me to leave my dog in the 85 degree apartment all day without AC b/c they didn't want to fix it. The unit finally quit and they ended up installing a tacky window unit in my bedroom to cool an 1100 s.f. apartment. It was NOT worth $800 a month! Save your money and find a cheaper place that will really be just as nice in the long run.
