My experience with the office staff and the property was wonderful. I was transferred to Mississippi in Apr. 2004 on business, I had limited time to find a place to live. Most of my property search was done over the phone. I moved to Ms from Virginia and arrived After office hours on a Saturday to pick up the keys to my apartment. Someone waited for me to arrive knowing I was driving over 1000 miles to reach my new home I had never seen the area until I arrived and was immediately impressed with the landscaping. The overall beauty of the complex was breathtaking. My apartment was in my opinion small but I liked it all the same. I never experienced mantainence issues and when something was wrong it was corrected in a timely manor I always knew when maintainence was in my apartment and that impressed me as well. As for safety I never felt safer I could leave my door unlocked and walk the neighborhood at all hrs of the night if the dog needed to go out. I can't do that living in VA. Some have complained about the apartment being overpriced not when you see what I am paying here in VA. I pay over $1200 to live in a home that isn't up to par and I don't feel safe. I can't go out after dark and my 4 yr old son has nowhere to play that isn't riddled in filth. I hated to leave the Trace when the company transferred me back to Va. I wish I could have taken what I consider a little slice of heaven back here. I would encourage anyone who is living in the Ridgeland area to consider the Trace apartments. They are an older complex, but it has heart and just knowing I could drink a cup of coffee on the balcony on a Sunday morning in peace will be dearly missed. I actually have 2 collegues who still live in the Trace who were from VA. as well and enjoy their place as I did. I will also invite all to visit the ratings for where I am currently living to read the reviews. It is under the State of Va. City Fredericksburg, England Run North Apartments. What you read is not a fabrication it is true.(focus on the headline Ironic)This is the office Manager and she threatens in this manor on an ongoing basis. I am currently stuck until my lease ends in December. I will also incourage people to note the going rate on houses in my area. There are some going for $500k and that is why I have to rent.

I miss Ms and wish there were apartments like the Trace here in Va.
