I have lived at River Pointe for about four years and have seen the changes. It used to be so quiet, but not now. Everytime you walk outside all you see is large groups of teenage children sitting all on the steps. You have to ask them to move just to get down the stairs. The pool is a joke. it is not very clean and they is so many people using foul language and drinking I can not take my kids there anymore. I read some of these ratings and I can not believe some of the positive comments. My lease is up in Sept. and I will be definatly be moving. I had a continous problem with ants and mice and the manager told me that is part of living in MS. I ask for the Corp. telephone number and she was very rude and would not give it to me. I had to look it up on line. Oh, the tennis court and fitness room is also a joke. The tennis court is used to socialize and the equipment is also broken

I, myself, have not had any probelems but I do agree that some of these teenagers are very rude but that is not the fault of the staff. The blame lies with the parents of these teenagers. It is the responsibility of the parents to teach their children to have respect for others. In my opinion, a warning should go to the parents of these teenagers and then if the bahavior still continues, things should get a little more serious. I do not get a chance to use the pool but there should be a lot of respect, once again, for others. There should definately be no drinking of alchohol, if my understanding is correct. This should be monitored, as much as possible, by the courtesy officers. Tenants should know, and also feel, that the courtesy officers here at the apartments are here to make sure that the rules will be followed at all times, no exceptions. I have not had any problems here. I am just voicing my opinions.
