My wife and I moved into Oak Ridge back in March of 2003. We had toured the place and heard the managment talk up how great of a place it was to live. Once we moved in it turned out to be a nightmare. About 3 months after moving in, the office passes some news rules. No one is allowed out side after 10pm. We were not even allowed to sit on our patio. Money orders were the only way to pay rent. I can understand if everyone had bounced checks but this wasnt fair for those who can manage their money. Back in October our stove catches on fire, what does Oak Ridge do, nothing. We went two weeks with no stove or oven. Did they care, not at all. At that point we decided to call Fair Housing and break our lease. We went to the propery manager and explained her the problem. She agrees to let us out of our lease. They come inspect the aptment signed a paper relingishing us from the lease and tthen try to sue me. They have some new manager in place who says the old manager had no right to let us out of the lease and that Standard Enterprise would do nothing about the suit. Does this sound like a place you want to live'
