I was apartment hunting last year in August and I came across Oak Ridge because they were close to my job. I liked the fact that they were patio homes instead of apartments. This is what attracted me to the complex. I would always go over there in the daytime(during working hours) to sign any paperwork/give deposit. I walked threw the home and it seemed fine. They charge you an arm and a leg for deposit first of all. And I went to clean the apartment before moving in so I sprayed all kind of chlorox cleaner to disinfect the apartment. After spraying roaches started to come from everywhere. Hundreds of them. I went to the leasing office to discuss this matter and found out that they didn't even take the liberty of spraying the apartment after the last tenant moved out. I was dissatisfied and wanted my money back; however they didn't give me anything back. And then when I went over on the weekend there was trash and kids everywhere hanging out in the streets and listening to loud music. This is the Southaven Ghetto. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!!
