Decent apartments From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/12/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   I love living in these apartments! I am on the second floor and have a 4 year-old boy and I haven't had one complaint about too much noise. Everything is in perfect working order, nothing has broken down since I've been here. The playground equipment is decent, nothing fancy. My neighbor upstairs is occasionally a bit noisy, but nothing I'd feel like complaining about (especially having a noisemaker myself.) My neighbor acroos from me has dogs who go out onto her porch and bark at anything and everything that moves, which is quite annoying. However, a notice has been posted just recently addressing this issue, so I'm hopeful that this will change. My utilities are nothing compared to what they used to be in Memphis. I keep my house almost unbearably warm in the winter and moderately cool in the summer and my bills are about half of what I paid MLGW. The ONLY complaint I have is that the office manager could use a bit more training in how to talk TO her tenants and not AT them. The few times I have spoken with her, I have been spoken to as if I were beneath her and not worth her time. I understand that the job is probably very stressful and dealing with tenants can't be easy. However, some semblance of caring about the residents might be nice. After all, this sort of job intertwines with people's personal lives. Who wants to cooperate or even deal with someone who so obviously has bigger problems to deal with than the people who are the reason they have a job' All of the other girls in the office are great...very nice and respectful. Please give your office manager some tips on how to be a people person.
