I have lived in Academy Village for about 2 years now and have enjoyed living there with no regrets. With its convenient location, it is closer to the school and eating establishments than some apartments/condominiums which are more expensive. The general environment is very well kept up. Only because of current construction of brand new facilities is the area temporarily dusty and at times noisy.

New to the area, a full-functioning fitness center is on the same road, not even a half mile away from most units. It is super convenient. Also close by is a gas station, car wash, Oby's (Cajun style semi-fast food, sit-down restaurant--really good), and also close to a Fire Station.

Great location, above- average quality, fairly reasonable...

I knew someone who lived there before and it was GREAT! I just wish I had known someone to move over there with cause I would have lived there in a heart beat! The staff is amazing and they get on your requests very quickly and let you know whats up if its taking a little while to get everything fixed. Only one problem was the apartment was backed up to the pool and when it was open there were loud parties that kept people up but that was the only bad thing about the place! Would recommend this to anyone and everyone! just wish they could have had a one bedroom place there for those who couldn't find a roommate or were just kinda out of luck at the other places!
