I have been an Avalon resident for 2 years now. I thought it would be a good place since I need to study a lot and it is far from campus and there are that many college students here. I was sooo wrong! We have had a huge problem with noise, roaches, management, and maintenance. Our first 4 months our refridgerator leaked and they tried to fix it with tape. Our carpet gets spots from underneath and when it rains everthing leaks! We never have hot water and our dryer doesn't dry our clothes...yet it overheats all the time! We came back one weekend to find both our locks on the door unlocked...yet no one knew anything about it..seems like to me someone with a key was responsible but what do I know. The manangement doesn't know what they are doing and try to charge you for stuff they do everyday. Oh well, do what you want to do...but I would definitely NOT recommend living in these apartments!!!!
