These apartments are not bad size wise, and the free cable and water is great. Most of the buildings are difficult to get internet access to because of the way cable is routed through them, so you'll have to outsource to a major company. When you first move in they give you a form telling you to fill out any damages you see, FILL IT OUT AND TURN IT IN. If not, those cigarette burns or stains on the walls will be charged to you, and when you go looking for a return of your deposit, they hand you a bill for "extreme cleaning/repairs"

PET OWNERS: That $20 pet rent, is not used to clean the carpet after you leave. So make sure your dog is house trained and if he/she does go on the carpet for god's sake don't let it stain, they will charge you for replacing a carpet.

As for overall safety, lock your doors and windows. There is a chance that you will get broken into.(I was broken into twice my first week there) If you blow off people in the parking lot, they will come knock on your door. (This means you ladies) Yes, if you turn down someone that lives in the complex, quite a few of them will come back and try again, at your door.

Noise is an issue. People are often loud as hell out in the parking lot or in the pool. If there is a party, you will hear it. If there is fight, you will hear it. And yes...if the person above/next to your apartment is having sex...you will hear it.

I recommend these apartments, but don't let Rosemary bully you around, you have rights as a renter to be in an environment that is good for you. Rent here, but be smart about it, or it will come back to bite you 6 months down the road.
