Four months after living in College Station, we received a notice about cigarette butts being thrown off the balcony. That would be a fine argument, except that the apartment below us is a bunch of chain-smokers...couldn't the butts have been theirs'

So because of some manager's stupidity, I'm being fined $50. Wow, thanks a lot.

I've also been overcharged for rent. They had a June-July special, and the rent was $31 for the first two months. Well, I get my credit card statement showing I was charged $216! I told them, and they said they would be unable to refund the balance...it would just have to be added to next month's rent. I was leaving for a summmer trip in four days, and that wasn't acceptable. After lots of haggling, I got the refund, finally.

Add that to the less than ideal conditions, parking problems, and gritty parking lot...and you have a certified piece of crap to live in.

Don't stay here if you can help it.
