crossgates is very nice and very spacious. we have a 3 bed, 2 bath and its about 1200-1300 sq feet. its by far the largest apt in starkville, if im not mistaken. the management likes to leave nasty letters on everyones door from time to time. the pet desposit is 500, which is rather expensive. we've received numerous letters telling us to 'clean up' after our dog when he goes to the bathroom outside (everyone received the letter, not just us). the yards, etc are kept up nicely and the pool is nice, although i believe the hot tub has been broken since we moved in in june. we'll be moving out so we can be closer to campus.. but overall its been OK. its also a little expensive.. $900/mo. not the best place to live, but def not the worse. i also wouldnt really recommend it for families bc it def is a college atmosphere.
