I don't live here, but I've toured it enough times to know that there's no way on God's green earth I would rent here. It would take me 30 minutes to get to campus every morning, plus the office staff is lazy lazy lazy -- as you can read in a few other comments here!! The furniture is total crap -- I could buy a better sofa at a thrift store in town for 15 bucks! And the whole deal about them paying ALL your bills is total bull. If I go over my electric bill stipend for the month, then I have to pay extra, which I understand.. but if I spend less than the stipend, I don't get that credited to my account. How ridiculous is THAT' Total rip-off, if you ask me.. there are several other apartments around town that aren't BFE and that offer individual leases and furnished apartments. I got me three roommates and moved into a bottom floor apartment at College Station.. furnished with great beds and all and a LOT cheaper than Lakeside. We love our new place, plus the pool is 100 times better!

how dumb can you be that ain't even our building you dumbie... college station seriously.. if it's so good why does lakeside have their matienance and property manager and old leasing agent?? college stations pool seriously that tears up your feet because it's concrete.... the staff lazy... if they are so lazy how do we the tenants have so much fun.... and this electric bill seriously one of my friends work for the staff and that all sounds like some bull..... so until YOU stay AT THE GREAT LAKESIDE PLACE don't knock it....

i agree. i have NEVER had to pay for going over any of my utility caps, the rent is strictly ALL INCLUSIVE!!! and the staff is great, they always help me when i need them and we have a lot of fun here. and it doesn't take 30 minutes to campus, it's never taken me more than 15 minutes to get from lakeside to my desk in a classroom. obviously, you're pulling this information out of your a$$ so i would love it if you wouldn't talk about the place i call home.
