The walls have absolutely no sound-proofing. Since this is a new building and noise is almost always an issue with apartments...I assumed that it would be fairly well sound-proofed (as are most new apartment buildings.) I wish I would have looked into it before I signed my lease and moved in. It's not that my neighbors are noisy as much as it is poor construction. I can hear TVs at all hours of the day and night as well as casual conversations through the walls. I considered installing sound-proof panels on the walls...but the ceiling is also like paper. The cost would just be too great. It's a shame because everything else is pretty good...but I will be breaking my lease and renting elsewhere.
