Equal treatment' Yeah right.

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005
Me and my two roommates rented a 3 bed 2 bath. It was my first apartment, and being a new complex, I was excited. Our apartment was brand new, and everything looked good at first. The blinds however break incredibly easy. Just rolling them up they will get tangled or break off. The room sizes are decent for an apartment, unless you have alot of stuff.
The staff is ridiculous. We would call to get the blinds replaced, or to make a complaint, and they would ignore us, and at times pick on us for problems. In fact we had a neighbor below us that would make a complaint when we would walk around. Clearly we had a picky neighbor, and that is a chance you take. My problem was that everything she called about would be brought to our attention, when no action would be taken if we had a problem with something. It seems that they are biased against college students, and we where far better than most. We were the ones calling on parties next to us because we were studying or sleeping or just wanting peace. Another thing to be aware of. One time they let a girl one of my roommates was friends with into our apartment when no one was home. She had a dog with her, and since it wasnt allowed by the pool, figured she would house it in our apartment. The resident manager didn't ask any questions, just let her and the dog into our apartment. The dog was locked into a bedroom and literally bug a hole in the carpet.
The option of having a pool and workout facility is nice, and a big reason to my choice of moving there, along with the new apartments. However, rent is a bit steap, and it seems the apartments will seem shaby in a few years.
