I lived in a one bedroom apartment but recently moved out.
The staff was okay - some were more approachable than others, but that is to be expected.
The apartments are fairly well-maintained considering their age, but they aren't anything special.
We lived on the first floor and we must have lived under an elephant given the amount of noise coming from above us.
We also had more bugs in that apartment than anywhere we have ever lived.
Immediately after we moved in we found out that the apartment was infested with cockroaches.
The exterminator came out twice, but the cockroaches remained.
Just before we moved out the rent also went up by $100 or so but it looks like they came back down since then.
There were also problems with the pool (lots of noise from stereos and parties at night), the gate that didn't work most of the time, dog poo all over the place, and trash on the outside of the community.
Overall, I give Avalon Peaks a C.

I've lived here 3 years and never had any problems like this person describes. They must have left owing money or something like that. People LOVE living here - only reason they leave is to buy a house.

I lived at Avalon for almost 2 years and LOVED it! I have lived in many apartments over the past 7 years, and this was the best one yet.

This person must be thinking of another complex. I have lived here for over two years and have yet to see a cockroach. If he/she had them, he/she brought them. The only thing I have to say bad about living here is the cable service, but I choose to live in a clean and safe complex rather than others that have Time-Warner, which is not perfect either.

Really...wrong complex! No trash here, no messes on the ground, the rent does not go up by hundreds of dollars, and it's upscale (no loud annoyances). Either that was my old neighbor who didn't pay his rent or he was thinking of Summit Reunion! :P |
