It's no mistake that there is at least a 30% difference in satisfaction rates between Avalon Peaks and whoever those other properties are! :) OUR property manager - Ms. Debra Shea - was recently named Manager of the Year by the Triangle Apartment Association!

You can read about the amenities of this community on your own...so I'm going to tell you about the actual experience of living here. It's important to you, right...where you live...Me too.

Debra and the staff here are wonderful. They know our names. They even know our dogs' names. And they treat us like a community of residents, not random people who rent apartments. The people who live here have chosen to do so as a lifestyle. From what I've seen, residents only leave to purchase a home or to move out of the area altogether...and some come back, like I did!

I lived here at Avalon for 2 years before I relocated to the DC area for a new job. 18 months later...and I'm back and GLAD to be! Debra made my return to Avalon so easy (thanks, Deb!). I didn't hesitate to call her when I thought about coming back to NC. I knew I would have no worries and that I could count on her to make things happen. She is strong, proactive, and caring. And no...I'm not a best friend or relative of anyone who works here...but they will make you feel like you are...and not just to get you to sign a lease.

I really do love living here. It's peaceful, but you can always find people when you want to. There is a variety of residents, from young professionals to families. Kids have a special areas to skate and play, etc. And the dogs have a mini-park to hang out in. It's great.

The setting is gorgeous - wooded, close to everything you could hope for. You can walk to several restaurants, a coffee shop, a convenience store, a hair salon, and a nail place. There's a dry cleaner and an auto shop right across the street.

Dogs are loved around here, but you don't see messes when you're out and about. The grounds are beautifully maintained.

If you don't want to deal with the maintenance on a house, Avalon is great! There are regular safety inspections, and the maintenance staff is excellent. The whole office staff takes good care of us and lets us know what's going on.

We have community events several times a year - it's not just something they talk about as an incentive. There's a yard sale, dog parade, 4th of July party, blood drives, etc. This is not a bunch of people renting apartments...we are a community of residents who choose to live here.

Parking is plentiful. The clubhouse and pool are beautiful...but come see that for yourself. It's also a very safe area. I am a mid-30s single female, and I don't feel at all hesitant about walking at night. We have security systems in our homes. The inside of the apartments & townhomes looks more like a house than a rental. The screened in porch is a great place to hang out.

If you're still not sure, get over here! Judge for yourself! Ask the residents you see walking around...we're friendly!
