I just moved out of Avalon Peaks after my lease ran out (had to relocate).
I have stayed at 4 complexes in the Apex/ Cary area in the past 5 years and this was the best by far.
This is actually the only one of the 4 that I wanted to remain at, but was out of my hands.
The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly.
Never had any problems with noise or with anyone snooping around cars, breaking into cars, etc.
The office staff was friendly and always tried to help.
And the maintenance guys are always there when they say and fix stuff on the first try.
The rent is a little higher than most places, but the apartments are very spacious and the items I mentioned above make it worth paying a little bit more each month.
If you are looking for an apartment I would suggest Avalon Peaks over any others in the area.
