I have just signed my renewal! I did so after investigating all the all communities in the area due to the increase I was worried I was going to have. I do know that you can pay less some where else but I am not sure you will get a better more caring staff. From beginning to end the staff has been great even when I had to complain on a neighbor playing guitar hero really loud. They didn't treat me bad becauase I complained. The guys never seem to get annoyed at my work orders no matter how little. I LOVE all my neighbors too, even the rock star one. I have to say that I have lived in a lot of apartments and this is my favorite! I love the town home feel and the fact that I do not have to worry that my small son is running up and down the hall and will disturb the neighbors below. It is apartment living so I understand you are going to hear noise no matter what but I have just been so pleased that it is not an issue for me here. I am not as patient as I once was.
My only complaint is the fact that even though there are pet waste stations people still do not pick up after their dog. I am shocked sometimes to see that people will let the dog go right next to the station and not bend down to pick it up. I have picked up other peoples waste sometimes just so my dog doesn't get sick or step in it. The sad part is I have even seen the girls in the office going around in dress clothes and picking it up. I don't blame the staff for this I blame the pet owners. When you go around and see how much people want to charge you to have a pet in Asheville it starts to make sense. I am sure the little stations weren't cheap I just wish more people would use them.
