I lived at the Forest for 1 1/2 years with my medium sized dog. I was very pleased with how nice the office and maintenance staff were. They were always prompt with next day repairs, etc. The grounds were always clean and so were the facilities. These apts. have their own dog parks for residents, that are of nice size. There are pet dropping pick-up bag and deposit stations conveniently located. I loved the trail that connects the Biltmore community to the apts. It is paved and open all the time. I've even seen deer in the woods by the trail. There is a grocery store with a gas station across the street. A YMCA and movie theater are less than a mile away. The gym at the Forest is a "real" gym. You will find every machine you need. The gas station was always the cheapest in most of Asheville. As far as hearing other people, these are apts and you will sometimes hear your neighbor walking or playing music. I find it's best to live with respect for everyone. My dog barked quite a bit when we first moved in, (her first apt.) but no one ever complained. My complaints' When it came time to renew my contract, the office person I was dealing with was unbending with the length of contract. They have three, six, nine, and twelve month leases. They also have the sixty day notice clause. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would happily live there again. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
