We were moving to Asheville from Atlanta and after I found a job, we were left with two weeks to finalize everything. We had found another apartment complex and were well into the process of finalizing our lease (name omitted, but I'm leaving them a review as well) but they fell through leaving us with just a couple of days to find a home.
Woodland Hills really came through for us. They rushed the process and helped us every step of the way to get our lease, keys for the apartment, etc. They are friendly, and though sometimes can be "all business", very professional and helpful. I highly recommend Woodland Hills. We've only been there a few months, but I haven't yet had a problem in our place! What's more, it's right on the interstate so it's easy to get into town from here, even though it's a bit north of the city.
The only other thing I will say is that the front gates can be annoying; they open very slowly. Each apartment gets one free remote for the gate, but additional remotes are $30 a month! (there is a keypad that you can use to enter of course--it's annoying but saves money. ;) On positive though is that the gates seem to remain open during the beginning and end of the business day for an hour or two.
