I have lived at Haw Creek Mews for a year. In that time, I have seen the caliber of people that are renting apartments here diminish very quickly. What used to be a nice, decent place to live in East Asheville, has now become a place that will let ANYONE move in. There are deliquents of all sorts. Teenagers living on their own; residents partying at all hours; drugs; etc. There is an epidemic of residents not picking up after their dogs, to the extreme point that the Health Deparment should be called. The office staff is useless and doesn't care to even fake interest in the residents complaints and issues. Parking is a mess! I have only one car, and though I am supposedly alloted space for two cars, trying to find a space has become ridiculous. As for noise, forget it. The walls/floors/ceilings are paper thin. The only thing I can't complain about is the maintenance staff.
