Decent Place to Live

Overall:
My husband and I have lived here for a year and a half and have found it to be very average, but overall a decent place to live. The rent is high for the quality of the apartments, though. The apartments themselves need remodeling (the carpet is worn, cracks between ceiling and walls, not many windows, looks kinda old, etc.) but after living in many college apartments, Kensington Place is much better. It's a nice home - especially for people starting out.
Maintenance:
Maintenance staff are friendly, efficient, and arrive within 24 hours if it is not an emergency. We had a water leak that ran outside recently, but we hadn't noticed. Once of the groundskeepers saw it and reported it to maintenance and they came by and fixed it the same day and left a note telling us we had a leak and they had already fixed it. Another time our upstairs neighbor had a water leak into our bathroom at 8:30pm. When we called the emergency maintenance, he came over right away and stayed until it was completely fixed. We have had other minor maintenance problems, but they have always come within 24 hours.
Safety:
I have always felt safe here and have never seen any sketchy people loitering around. Most people here seem to be families and people are usually courteous and quiet.
It was a great home for a year and a half!
