***If you are interested in Parkway and concered about safety, request to live near the entrance and on the second floor. Also, make sure cable has been properly installed in your unit before moving in.
**Okay experience - but first two months were my main problem. I was promised all the basic amenities. After moving in and having the cable company come out to set up my TV and internet, i was told that 'due to these apartments recently (spring '06) installing vinyl siding, that messed up cable to every apartment.' Cable company told me that I would have to pay a large fee to have them drill holes in the siding and re-wire my apartment. Parkway agreed at first. Finally after a ton of complaining, they agreed to pay the fee. It took 1.5 months to get cable installed and properly working. I ran into several other residents that were just as ticked as i was. I expected that I could be reimbursed in some way since i had emails proving that cable service was installed prior to my move in date, but the staff at Parkway was unwilling to compensate me for my trouble. I had to receive my emails for my new job at the downtown library and I couldn't watch the news on TV.
Other than cable issues: I am a single young female and I felt like this apartment complex was not very safe. I was weirded out by people lurking around the parking lot during all hours of the night. There isn't enough parking lot lighting.
