I went to UNCA and have lived here with my husband for 2 years. I won't say it is perfect, but it is definitely the best we have found in our price range. I think the staff is always courteous; I have never experienced them not caring about any issues. The buildings are older, built around 40-50 years ago so don't expect perfect. My apartment does have a dishwasher and washer/dryer hookups in the kitchen; I read a review saying that they didn't have that. The apartment (2-bedroom garden) is plenty big, the master bedroom being the largest of any of the newer apts I have looked at. It does have a few downsides, such as 1 small bathroom and a small kitchen, but overall I think it is great. If you want new and perfect, go somewhere else, if you want affordable and liveable come here. It was the best decision of my college career.
