Staff: I agree with the person who commented about the office staff being completely incompetent. They all leave for lunch (despite there being at least two staff members at all times- why they can't stagger this I don't know....) at arbitrary times and are often not back by the time the sign says they will. They are rather unorganized and lose important paperwork. I feel like I am paying too much for the quality of service I've been given.

Maintenance: I've not had many problems, but the 2 I have had I had were not taken care of from the voice mail you have to leave the "maintenance" line. I had to go and hassle the office about it twice.

Noise: On the weekends there are VERY loud bass noises coming from the parking lot. Last weekend our apartments were actually vibrating. Also, a woman who wakes up around 5am above me walks around with high heels on and it's woken me up several times. The walls seem to be thick enough... but it's paper thin between floors and ceilings.

Misc: The cabinets do not have adjustable shelves and you cannot fit things like cereal boxes standing upright in them.... which is extremely irritating to me, anyway. Parking after 7:00pm can be difficult at times and requires you to park/walk several buildings away. Garbage is often overflowing from the trash compactor onto the sidewalk. There is no recycling(!!) There is no community type area where you can post fliers, carpool info, etc. and people seem to keep to themselves for the most part. It is very hard to leave making a left onto Leicester Hwy about 80% of the time and so it's good to know about the "back" entrance, off Eliada Home Rd.

The Good: Compared to some of my friends living in apartments who have toxic mold that the landlord won't do anything about... Westmont Commons isn't so bad! The patios & view are nice. There are PLENTY of outlets in appropriate places and the closet space is amazing. The gym is small, but convenient being open 24/7! It could be worse.
