First of all, things are constantly breaking in the apartment. My bathroom sink had leaked so much there was a large amount of water damage under my sink when I moved in, and I couldn't put anything in the cabinet without it getting wet and moldy. Bathtub water is strange...for a couple of months in the winter it would not get warm. Now that it is summer, it gets scaldingly hot.

My friend got a boot on her car when running up to my apt for just a few minutes instead of walking the long distance from the visitor lot. Waited around for hours for someone to come take the boot off. It wasn't even necessary...there were about 10 open parking spaces around her car so it's not like she was taking parking away from anyone for those few minutes she needed it.

Biggest peeve is maintenance. I am a girl, and some of these men knock but immediately barge into my apartment without even waiting for me to answer the door. They go into my room/bathroom without hesitation. I am afraid to take a shower or change clothes in the middle of the day when I know maintenance is around my building because they are so invasive. Sometimes if they have been during the day I will come back to lights left turned on or things moved around in my apartment, which bothers me.

Worst of all, they try to fine you for everything. Once maintenance came in for one of their routine end of year check ups and actually threatened to write me up because of a drink box sitting beside my trashcan because it wouldn't fit IN the trashcan.

My neighbor got in trouble for leaving his dirty shoes on his own porch, and the same neighbors also got fined for having a pumpkin on the porch last fall for halloween.

Anyway, to sum up it is overpriced for what it is and they try to charge you for every little thing...even if it's not your fault. I would not recommend this place for girls because the way some of the men who work here act and barge in on you is extremely discomforting. The rent is going even higher, too.
