We moved in last June, and it's been a pretty good place to live. I am a teacher a few towns away and enjoy the close access to 85/40 and the fact we're off a main road in this small "city"- Burlington. There are noisy kids around who act like they don't have parents sometimes. However, if I can deal with the noise (never lasts past 10 pm), anyone can. I've had no trouble with maintenance. Our AC/heat doesn't reach the back two rooms that well, but maintenance has tried to fix it. It's not that bad though. I haven't had any problems with the staff either. We have a 3 bedroom/2 bath garden apartment (one level) on the third floor. Exactly what we wanted and the manager even got us the building we requested too. I haven't had safety problems either. Obviously I'm not a late night person, so who knows what goes on after 11:00 pm, but I've never heard my roommates or others complain. As far as the highjacking of the paper woman this past summer: She was not hurt. They took her car and ran it into my row of cars, which caught on fire. I know this sounds ghetto, but nothing has gone on like that since then. I think the police driving through now and then has helped. Hope this helps. Definitely a good place, probably one of the best in the area.
