The apartment was in terrible shape. For starters, the doors were loose in there hinges and made awful grinding noises when opened. The counters were dirty with chunks missing and the floor of the upstairs wasnt level. I could feel where it sloped. The blinds were torn as well as the screen on the windows. When i told management about these things they told me to write it in a report and turn it in but they never came to inspect or fix any of these problems. Unsupervised kids were running around everywhere and often screaming. The pool is always dirty and full of kids splashing and crying and screaming with parents ignoring them. After only two weeks of living in these apartments, i lost my job as well as had an incident with my room mate molesting my girlfriend. I told the management i could no longer stay there and even asked what I could do to be taken off the lease. The lady in the office was rude and told me i had no choice because my room mate would have to be the one to release me from the lease. Outraged by this I moved out anyway. I was not going to be held by contract living with someone i could not trust. Now the Brittany apartments want me to pay over 4 thousand dollars in debt owed for all the time i didnt even live in the apartment. If you want to be screwed out of money, ignored, and treated like a number then this place is for you.

I also got a bill after I moved out for not having the carpet "Professionally cleaned" I vacuumed the place top to bottom and cleaned it better than it was when I first moved in. I still cannot believe the gall of these people , they have no legal right to claim those kind of expenses and numerous negative comments on boards like this will hopefully put them out of business for good.
