First of all, be sure to read the fine print on the lease. Should something happen and you need to leave before the lease is up, it will cost you a fortune. Everything in the lease is slanted to the landlord's benefit. In short, they take responsibility for almost nothing.

Secondly, if you have a roommate and the roommate leaves, the Brittany holds you completely responsible for their bills and charges.

Third, even if, as we did, you thoroughly clean the apartment and steam clean the carpets before you leave when your lease is up, the Brittany will still charge you for cleaning.

Finally, the place is falling apart. We actually left the apartment in much better condition than it was before we moved in.
