If you have any plans on moving into The Brittany, you need to change your mind right now. That place is so old and nasty. All of the exterior wood is rotten, poor up-keep on the outside of all buildings, and landscaping is a joke. The landscapers came out only about once a month. When they actually decided to show up, they always did a horrible job. The parking lot was being "re-done" and still looked horrible. The management there was a complete joke. The manager rather spend more time talking to her assistant about "outside" issues or flirting with the maintenance staff to care anything about the complex or the residents. The children there became a real problem. There was no kind of parent supervision in that place, kids run wild until all hours of the night. The kids there broke stuff, fought, cussed, yelled, threw stuff at apartments, stole stuff, and threw trash everywhere. Every time I complained about the kids, management informed me that there was nothing that could be done about it. Maintenance was a joke as well. They took forever to come out if you had a problem because they just walked around the complex or rode around on the golf cart all day doing nothing. The trash was never picked up unless you went to management and kept complaining. When the maintenance staff came out to fix a work request, it always took them 2 or 3 visits to actually "fix" the problem. I recently moved out of that place and I am much happier. The apartments are huge there, but what you have to deal with day in and day out is not worth the price or the headache.
