I lived at Forestdale for about 10 months.

The pros: a friendly staff, the outside of the complex was neat and clean, and the apartment is in a good location. Also, I always felt extremely safe living there.

The cons: the only thing they did to prepare the apartment before i moved in was paint the walls.
There were roaches in the kitchen the day I moved in....and even after they sprayed for bugs several times throughout the year, I still found roaches in my kitchen ON A DAILY BASIS!! Eventually, I began finding roaches in my bathroom, as well.
My roommate had some of his laundry stolen out of a washing machine in the laundry room. If you are going to do laundry do not leave it unattended.
There are lots of families with small children that live in the in the complex and the children would run out in front of cars in the parking lot without looking. Also, the children run around screaming....I was on the second floor and they were extremely loud all the time. (The apartment contained half college students and half families....the college students are very quiet!! and the families with children are very loud!! If you're a college student looking to escape the loud dorms and campus living and looking for a quieter place to live DO NOT MOVE HERE! you're just as well off to live in one of the apartments beside of campus.)

Also, I moved out of my apartment in May and did not receive my deposit until October! I called dozens of times throughout the months and Maria flat out lied to me several times and told me that my check was in the mail on its way to me. Eventually, I had to go down to Forestdale to get it myself....and she had the money there to give to me, she was just too lazy to mail it...(and she was rude and didn't even apologize for taking 5 months to give it to me.)
