We moved in last May. The apartment was disgusting. The carpet is coming up, the tile is stained, the blinds were broken, the whole place looks like it's ready to fall apart. In Aug. we noticed our roof was leaking and our ceiling has been falling down. Their "fix" after severall months was to respray the popcorn ceiling in that area. Needless to say it's falling again. The filter is not changed often enough. In fact I need to call request that to be done. The lights in the stairwells often go out and I need to repeatedly ask for them to be changed. I understand they are under new management, but yet I had requested them to change the filter and the battery in our smoke detector (we live on the third floor, vaulted ceilings therefore unreachable). It didn't get done for almost 2 weeks. They didn't even put the work order in the first time I spoke with them, and then I had to repeatedly ask them when they were coming to fix the problem. thank goodness there wasn't a fire! They have done nothing concerning the roof. We will be leaving here when our lease is up and they want us to be out my 12 am on that day. "company policy". It's not on our lease. I'm currently trying to fight that. I wouldn't send anyone to this apartment complex.
