Eviction placed on my credit, but never got evicted!

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2007
I use to love living at Glenwood Apts. I lived there for 3 yrs until a new lady started working there. I was falsely accused of being evicted by Chasity, so now I can't get an apt anywhere b/c of that. My rent check was held until after the date to pay the rent w/o her filing court papers. I had to go to court yes, but I had a choice of paying a certain amt and staying or paying a certain amt and leaving...we chose to leave b/c we figured if we stayed she would try to evict us. We paid her and left by choice.
I can't even live my life now b/c I'm stuck b/c eviction is on my credit when it shouldn't be.
