It was a life altering experience when I had to live the first week with my daughter because of all the problems I had with the apartment. It was not painted and was dirty. I was told by the manager they did touchup painting only when necessary. Mentally I was taken back by having to live in an apartment after someone else s filth. I brought someone in to paint. The refrigerator was dented, it did not get cold and the icemaker was broke, however they did replace that. The living room ceiling fan was broke and I replaced it with one of my own. The toilet chain and stopper was held together by a SAFETY PIN. There was a tear in the shower wall. Who ever fix it sealed the dirt and grind right into the shower and it looks like my shower is just dirty all the time. The apartment has fleas after being told the person who live in the apartment before me had no animals. I lived here 1 month and I am still being eaten up by fleas. I was told by the manager that they have someone come in and clean, well they ought to be fired. The ceilings were dirty with fur balls from the ceiling fans. The walls had webs everywhere. The door to the sunroom was missing a nail thread that holds the door up. I have lived in 3 apartment complexes and this was by far the worst. I rate them a 0. They should pay me to live here. However, the maintenance crew did try to repair as much as they could in a timely manner and the Asst. Manager tried to be attentive to my needs. She did as much as she could. It appeared to me she had to handle all the dirty work. I am just coming to terms with all of this and trying to make the best of it. I will not be renewing my least and if I knew a way to break it I would.
