There are a few things that I don't like about Abbey Court:
1. Maintenance. I never really had a problem with the workers themselves, but they did take a few days to get there. There were times when I reported a problem to the office and the office never reported it to maintenance. The company who runs the place, it was Tarheel Companies during my stay) is CHEAP. They keep billing me for maintenance saying that it is my fault things break, so that they dont have to pay for it. I have been blatently lied to by the management company...more than once.

I don't care what race my neighbors are; that's never been a big deal to me. But the walls are so thin that not only do we hear it every time someone plays the radio, we can even hear when our neighbors are having sex...not cool.

We have constant complaints about one neighbor who is a ghetto superstar and the police come out with warning after warning and she never gets kicked out. Every person who lives in our building has complained about her. The apartment complex only cares about money. They talk a good talk, but when it comes down to it, they won't walk the walk.

So, if you are watching your pennies and you want to live here, you will have to put up with the noise, the unresponsiveness of management to complaints, drunks at the bus stop, drug dealers, and a few low class neighbors. And if you are racist, I wouldn't recommend you live here, because there are a lot of latinos, some ------, a few asians, and a few whites.
