Beware, they have refurbished these two bedroom apts (by basically painting everything including the bath tub white) but the buildings themselves are old and full of cockroaches. Tons of them! I was moved from one apartment after discovering on our first night there that the A/C closet was filled with about 30 of them. In the second apartment, on our very first night there, again cockroaches! Tar Heel Companies of North Carolina is the management company - avoid their properties - they are slumlords! Their buildings have not been maintained appropriately and you never know what will happen, our neighbor had to move because her A/C closet filled with water and they didn't fix it for three weeks - she was living with mold growing out of the walls! Do not rent at Abbey Court - or any Tar Heel Management property!
