I have lived in Sterling Brook for about a year now, and overall it has been a good experience.

Some of the pluses:
--The woods and landscaping make the setting beautiful.
--Although not new, the apartments themselves are pretty nice. We have a screened porch, which is a definite plus.
--The location is pretty good. For students, there are 4 bus lines that pick up at the entrance to the apt.

Some of the minuses:
--The big one, as many people have mentioned, is the maintenance. There's supposedly a 24 hour guarantee- if maintenance doesn't fix the problem within 24 hours, they credit you. Somehow, though, the staff have wormed their way out of this deal every time, and believe me, maintenance takes forever. We've basically given up and are taking care of problems ourselves.
--While some of the office staff are quite nice, others are just rude. On one occasion I stood waiting for 10 minutes to talk to a staff member (who was clearly on a personal phone call and saw me standing there) before giving up.

This place, like any reasonably priced apartment complex, has its problems. Overall, however, I've been very satisfied with my experience here. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
