Berkshire Manor is the only apartment that has ever felt like a home. It is in the perfect location next to grocery stores, the post office, and restaurants. I can hop on the bus and be in downtown Carrboro and Chapel Hill within minutes. The maintenance and office staff have always been very accommodating to me. I realize the office went through some transitions, but I have always been able to reach someone if I ever had a need. The sister community Berkshire Manor West is directly across the street. I am very happy here:)

This sounds like it was posted by the the new office staff. Very contrived. Since the former community manager was let go in January, the office staff HAS NOT been the same, as available or as competent. Rent goes up significantly every time I renew my lease. I love the location and greenspace, but with the impending rent increase I see coming again, I will not be renewing my lease.

Agree with Anon 7/22. The office is NOT the same. "The office went through some transitions"... if transitions means CLOSED without a manager on site, then yes.
