I am a UNC student that took a chance moving into Berkshire Manor West during renovations. The experience was great. You can't beat a renovated 2 bedroom apartment for $599 with cable and internet included. Most places around this area look like they haven't been updated since they were built in the 70's!

Why does this review sound like it was written by someone directly affiliated with the property--for example, someone in the advertising/promotion department? One sentence in particular flags this as someting not written by an actual resident: "The construction is winding down and it has definitely been worth it." Supposedly posted by someone living there less than a year. It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't snipes at neighboring complexes posted in their reviews; but those businesses seem to be at the self-promoting and sniping, so it's not like Berkshire is the only one.
