I have been living in BMW for around three months now and I absolutely love it! The apartments themselves are very spacious. We haven't had any problems with bugs. The girls in the office are fabublously nice and always open for any questions. The only problem I've had in terms of commuting to campus is the bus line. The C line buses only run around once an hour or so and it's hard to catch them. A good solution for this is the Carrboro Plaza park and ride lot which is right next door and has buses coming more frequently. There are also other complexes in the area that have better lines that you can park at. In terms of maitenance, everything has been great. We had a few small things to be done, they were all down very quickly and efficiently and the maitenance folks are very nice. Overall, with all the add-ins like cable, water, washer and dryer, this place is fantastic. I'll be renewing again next year!

This is obviously written by a manager (as are so many of the others), and should not be taken seriously. Anyone who has ever actually used the bus lines at Berkshire Manor West would know that any bus going to the park and ride lot has to go right by the apartment complex. Sadly, management feels that they need to inflate the rating of this place to get people to come....that should tell you something about your experience when you get here...

who in the world is making accusations about reviews on this website?!! As the writer of this post, and still a current resident of Berkshire Manor West, I noticed this response and I would like to clarify that this is not a fake post, that would be ridiculous. Why would the management of this complex encourage their residents to park at other apartment complexes? Seriously, this post is TRILL, and in case you don't know that means True and Real. BMW is awesome, the buses aren't too great but there are ways to work around them. I take the bus there every single day and am aware of the schedule, thanks.
