I have lived here with my roommate for the last year and THANK GOD I've finally got out. Our apartment is near the Carrboro plaza and I was woken up evey morning for a year to the sound of trucks loading and unloading, backing up and dumpters being emptied. Not to mention that the workers in the plaza watch you, which I know for a fact because of an "incident" while we lived there.

The electric bills never come on time, and now I am moved out I have almost $400 in past due electric to pay. And bills for a 2 bedroom apartment are about $150 a month. REDICULOUS.

The girls in the office are friendly but complete idiots that didn't even know how to give me directions to the place from 15-501 in Chapel Hill when I first moved here. My roommate says they are rude but I haven't noticed it myself. The maintenance is nice and quick with repairs, I can't complain much.

BUT THEN CAME THE ROACHES. Our entire building was inflested with roaches, all over the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathroom. Turning on the kitched light at night was like a horror movie. And my roommate found one in her bed. This is the primary and most disgusting reason why I had to get out of this ghetto.

The office said they would bait for them and never came. When I scheduled again and they never came AGAIN, I went down and asked them and they said that they had already done the apartment that day, which was a lie. I finally got them to bait, but the exterminator needs to come back 2-3 times for it to work. They told me he would come back the following week and never did.

The bottom line is, this place is noisy and infested and the people who work there really don't care that your sleeping with roaches. Live elsewhere, it's not worth it.

I have to agree with this person. There is a huge infestation of roaches in some of the buildings (which of course, they do not tell you when you move in). You don't find out until you are all cozy in your new apartment thinking that you are living the good life, only to be surprised by the little critters in all of your cabinets, your shower, and crawling in your cat dishes! This place is disgusting, and no one is doing anything to solve the problem. I am so displeased with the management of this place that I wouldnt recommend it to anyone EVER.
