I don't know about you all but safety is the number one concern with where I live. After 6 months of living there, my girlfriend's (whom I live with) car was broken into. The passenger side window was smashed in and stereo was torn out. Also, a few CD's were stolen. And then to top it all off, a few days later, I was taking out the trash and caught an older hispanic gentleman trying to look through out bedroom window (we had a bottom floor apt.)! I yelled out after him and he actually came up to me and through his broken english and my broken spanish he proceeded to tell me that he thought his friend lived there and wasn't answering the door! When these two incidences were brought to the attention of the apt. staff, they basically said that there was nothing that they could do other than file a police report. We also asked why there was not a night-time security guard on staff and they told me that there was not the money to hire one! Well, we broke our lease (with no penalty) and moved out the next month. On a different note, the apt. itself was dirty, old and decrepit. The ceiling fan made an aweful noise, the patio door didn't work right, and the bathroom was gross and old. The only good thing about it was the rent and the staff was pretty nice. Never, ever again will I live there nor recommend them to anyone!
