My roommate and I are students at Carolina, and were excited to move into Carolina apartments under a great deal. Truly, the apartment is spacious and in a great location, but the office staff and maintainence are VERY unprofessional. When placing requests for maintainence many times the work orders were not put in. My roommate and I had a constant problem with mold (that was already over the shower when we moved-the 1st week the cieling fell in from mold). Understanding that things go wrong with apartments all the time, it would take weeks and continous unreturned calls to deal with serious problems/neccessities such as no hot water (took almost a week to fix), mold, leaky cielings, puddles under the sink, not to mention the smaller problems like the garbage disposal, phone line, etc. We have enough onour hands trying to finish college, and the great deal we recieved here was not worth the stress, hassle, and run around given to their residents by office and maintainence staff. Even after attempting to talk with the office as well as upper level management about the maintainence problems, no attempt was made for things to improve. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE.
