Management issues

I lived in Chambers Ridge Apts for 4 years. The first 2 were fine, because the on site manager was great. The last 2 years there was a different manager and she was almost never in the office during posted hours on days that rent was due and didn't come across as very professional. She also complained to me a lot about routine things she had to take care of with the property (dealing with non-payers, a water line issue, planting flowers, getting the pool cleaned, etc), which always left me irritated, because it's her job to do these things. There was indeed a span of 9-10 months with no on site repairman, once they hired someone he was ok. When I left another management company had just taken over, so I don't know if things will get better-try it at your own risk. I did have issues from the new management getting my deposit back, but it was eventually sent to me. The new management is doing general upkeep on the exterior of the property, which was much needed. I did also have my car broken into one time while living at Chambers Ridge although the apartments themselves seemed relatively safe to me. The benefits of the complex are the big deck and proximity to UNC.
