I had the good fortune of living at The Chateau for 4 years. As a single female, I felt very comfortable and safe at this community. The management is first rate in taking care of all maintenance requests and my rent only went up one time (after 3 years)by only $20. My neighbors were extremely nice people. The Carrboro P.D. rates this as one of the safest properties in the area (you can check their website for details). I would definately live there again if I were pursuing another degree at UNC.
