HELL From: stevel1983@yahoo.com Date posted: 5/26/2005 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005   I and my fiance lived there for 3 years. we are moving at the end of may 2005. During our stay here there were countless break-ins thefts and rapes. you can check at chapel hill's police records.It is owned by a company known as triangle community, a spinless community that arent simply out to remove money from your pocket, but to ruin your life. or at least it seemed that way. The apartment community doesnt have a screening process and they allow anyone and everyone. that is a big issue. Not one of our constant near nightly complaints were ever answered by managment. We made just over 22 police calls about one neighbor ( some kind of drug related parrty noise)before our apartment manager contacted us about it. and that person was allowed to finish out the 3 months left in there lease. You can take a drive through the community and youll see cloting appliances and other assorted trash in the bushes and front yards. junk trash and other blocking the catwalk. spray paint in various locations. broken glass, old junk cars. Its sad because carrboro is such a fair little town and youd think you were in the bronx at estes park. Now lets talk about the apartment itself. when someone is walking on the catwalk the windows rattle. using your heat/ac under normal use youll spend about 120 bucks a month because there is no insulation.the cieling is coming apart from the walls. the bathrooms..... if youve ever been in a R.V bathroom , exact same thing. cramped kitchen with 4 cabinets two of which are cluttered by the non-working garbage disposal and the stove hood. appliances seem to be okay. dont trust your outlet, the electrical system is terrible. DONT MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET THIS CHOICE.
